Female Founders Event

Are you a female founder or aspiring entrepreneur? Want to hear what the journey really looks like, from first idea to global stage?

Join the Innovation Office of the University of Basel and FHNW for an inspiring evening celebrating female entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.

Entrepreneurship thrives on diverse perspectives, yet women remain underrepresented among startup founders and venture-backed entrepreneurs. This event brings together outstanding female founders who are building businesses across different industries, markets, and stages of growth, from early stage ventures to international startups and successful scaleups.

The event will begin with a keynote on bias in entrepreneurship by Patricia Montesinos, Founder and President of the FE+MALE Think Tank, setting the stage for an open and thought-provoking discussion about opportunities, challenges, and pathways to success.

Through a series of role model talks, participants will hear firsthand stories from founders who have transformed ideas into ventures, navigated uncertainty, secured growth, expanded internationally, and built lasting impact. 

Following the talks, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers during interactive roundtable discussions and networking opportunities with an apéro.
